Bishop’s Blend Organic Fair Trade Coffee and Tea is coming!

On Sunday Novembe r 8th the Outreach Committee will kick off a fund raiser by débuting Bishop’s Blend Coffee and Tea. There will be a bulletin insert with information about the benefits of purchasing fair trade items, and a list of local stores where they can be purchased. The coffee and tea is organic and fair traded. It is imported and packaged by the Pura Vida Company in Seattle which donates a portion of their profits to groups which foster and encourage farmers to grow crops to be fair traded. This helps to insure they are paid a fair wage for their labor and product. Episcopal Relief and Development receives a portion of the profits from out purchase of them at church. Members of the Outreach Committee will be on hand after both services on November 8th to discuss the coffee and tea with you and to sell Bishop’s Blend. The Outreach Committee will also receive a small portion of the profit from the sales which will be used to support local ministries. We will have the coffee and tea available for sale every Sunday until Christmas. So be thinking about holiday gifts!!
