Boulder Homeless Shelter—Opportunity to Serve
The Fall/Winter season for the Boulder Homeless Shelter begins in October. St. Ambrose will once again be assisting our community by doing “kitchen duty” on the 1st Sunday of each month. Kitchen duty is actually a lot of fun. No experience required. We follow their recipes and cook and serve dinner to about 150 guests. (No clean up or washing dishes!) Please sign up on the sign-up sheet to join us in having some fun while doing some good!
Our first assigned dinner is Sunday, October 4. 4pm-7:30pm All children over 12 are welcome. Please initially limit yourself to signing up for two months to ensure everyone who wishes to participate has a chance to do so. If there are still spaces one month ahead of time, then please feel free to fill in the gap and sign up for that opening.
