Saint Ambrose Garden News

Greetings from the Garden
The garden is bursting with good things to eat. We have harvested all of the lettuce, spinach, and radishes, and taken 20 pounds of produce to Sr. Carmen for their food bank. That’s a lot of lettuce!!The peas are starting to come in so stop by and pick a few. All of the summer crops have been planted, and there is a small tomato on one of the plants – the first of the season. The gardener’s wish list is for mulch, if someone can bring a pickup truck full that would be amazing or maybe a few bags from the hardware store we would appreciate it greatly. We are still in need of help with the weeding. Stop by and pull a few weeds, then sit for a spell in the swing under the shady tree and admire God’s handiwork. It’s a great way to give back to the community while enjoying the spectacular views! P.S. We are missing a canvas shopping bag that was hanging on the sweet pea fence, if you have it please make sure it returns soon.
