Health Care Advocacy for Adults

In my vocation as a nurse and priest, I have found God brings to me people who are seeking various kinds of advocacy and/or resources for either their own or a loved one’s health care. As a small token of my appreciation and love for the St. Ambrose family and in response to God’s call, I would like to offer my services as Health Care Advocate for Adults to the parishioners and families of St. Ambrose (at no charge). What I can offer is my based on being a nurse for 25 years in the Boulder community and serving as Executive Director of St. Benedict Health and Healing Ministry, as well as the journey I have walked with my aging parents; my father’s death and my mother’s slow decline with Alzheimers. What I cannot offer is: emergency advice, treatment, diagnosis or advice in terms of decision making. However, I can offer my experience, compassion and knowledge.
