The Rev. Linda Vosburgh, Deacon
Linda Vosburgh was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate in November of 2007. After serving for a year and a half at Holy Comforter in Broomfield she accepted a call to serve as the deacon at St.Ambrose. In the past she has worked as a Disaster Assistance Employee for FEMA, and went on a dental mission trip to Haiti. Deacons are called to a ministry of service so they usually work in the outside world bringing the needs of the community back to the parish and help set up ministries to meet those needs. She has worked for 35 years in the University of Colorado Libraries, and enjoys teaching library research classes as well as helping students with their research. She and her husband, Doug Langley, who is a custom carpenter, love to buy and fix up older houses while living in them. They have two children - Jess is a painter, and Joe is a toy designer. “Go out and preach the gospel every day use words only when necessary,” is a quote attributed to St. Francis, her favorite saint.
